Over 45 years ago, Roffler was created to fill a need in American hairstyles.
It was the sixties, America was changing, and nothing was changing
more than hairstyles. Almost single handedly, Roffler brought advanced
European haircutting methods to America, and translated them to fit
American taste and style. It was done by creating the Roffler Method,
an approach to haircutting and hair design that elevated the barber
and cosmetologist into true designers. This technique involved the
use of the straight razor in a manner of cuting and blending the lengths
of the hair in a way that was entirely new and different. The popularity
of this technique grew as Mr. Roffler taught others to teach and share
his method.
The Roffler Method is unique. It is a total approach to hair design
that focuses on understanding and mastering every step in the process
of hair design. It shows you how to analyze the customer, using classic
principles of art and beauty. It teaches you proven cutting techniques,
step by step, and it refines your skills in styling and finishing the
cut.
Our educational programs are one more example of our commitment to
continually upgrading the skills of the hair designer. By studying and
mastering the Roffler method, you will be able to make the most of your
talents as an artist and designer. You will increase your value to your
customers, and, most importantly, you will build and expand your business
in the years to come.
